Mary E. "Marie" Colosi, age 77, of Indiana, formerly of Kent, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Andrew's Village. She was born in 1936 in Clune, to Frank and Mary Serrian Colosi. Marie was an active member and volunteer at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, having served in various capacities in the church office. She was also a member of the Women's Society and a former member of St. Anthony's Christian Mothers. She was employed for 32 years as manager for the J.S. Raub Shoe Store in Indiana. Marie also enjoyed crocheting, baking, and caring for her parents for many years. Marie is survived by two sisters, Rose Riedinger and husband William, Monroe, NJ; Frances Moore and husband Arthur, New Florence; by the following nieces and nephews, Sherri Boyd, Godchild Lori Lin, Godchild Kristi Riedinger, William Riedinger, Gregory Moore, Colleen Dowdell, Godchild Jeffrey Moore; nine great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by the following Godchildren; Frank Spoto, Chris Cannizzaro, Josephine Cassiere, Joseph Kubala, and by many special friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received on Monday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 A.M. at the Church of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Kent, with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak, the celebrant.
