Marjorie M. "Margie" Wood, age 78, of Creekside, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born in 1940 in Indiana to Paul and Gladys Carnahan Kessler.

A member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Mrs. Wood was employed at Scenery Hill Manor in the housekeeping department. She was also a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker.

Margie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lawrence m. Wood, Creekside; two daughters and one son, Brenda Castro and husband Dave, Indiana; Sandra Ashbaugh and husband Dwight, Marion Center; Matthew Wood and wife Amy, Creekside; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and one sister, Paul Kessler and wife Gloria, Home; Delores Henry, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two brothers and two sisters, Dan and Sonny Kessler, Nellie Hankinson, and Louise Graham.
