Marjorie (Lamer) Parsley, age 93 of Homer City died Thursday, March 26, 2020, at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh.

She was born in 1926 in Nicktown to Jacob B. and Margaret A. Shear Lamer.

Mrs. Parsley was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Homer City.

She was a homemaker and resided in Buffington Twp. for 76 years.

Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Mildred Byers, Homer City; Jean Royce, Homer City; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence "Slim" Parsley in 1979, her grandson Jerry Byers, and by three siblings.

Due to the health concerns associated with the coronavirus a private graveside service will be held at the Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown. Pastor Gary Alberding will officiate. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
