Obituary

Margaret Rose "Nunny" Douglas, age 78, of Indiana, formerly of Home, went to be with her Lord and beloved husband on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana. She was born in 1935 to Harry and Genevieve Miller Abrams. An important part of her life was her involvement as a member of the Calvary Bible Church, Glen Campbell, where she served as treasurer and Sunday School teacher for many years. Nunny was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery, gardening, and planning family gatherings. Nunny is survived by two sons and two daughters, James A. and wife Susan, Blairsville; George D., Jr., and wife Leisa, Home; Karen R. Cramer and husband Jeffrey, Penn Run; Sandra S. Gandolfi and husband John, Home; nine grandchildren, Christina Stone and husband Jason, Blairsville; Heather Barnhart and husband Russell, Blairsville; Scott Douglas and wife Mary, Blairsville; Melissa Kline and husband Jerry, Nanty Glo; Cortney Tyger and husband Isaac, Hooversville; Michael, and Zachary Cramer, Penn Run; Benjamin Gandolfi and fiancee Paige Vella, Pittsburgh; Jennifer Gandolfi, Home; five great grandchildren, Logan and Maddison Barnhart, Hannah and Matthew Stone, Isabella Douglas; two sisters, Lea Konitsky, Northern Cambria; Mary Gromley and husband Harold, Punxsutawney. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband George D. Douglas in 2008, and by the following siblings, James Abrams, Joseph Abrams, Arthur Abrams, and Dorothy Douglas. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, and on Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M., at the Calvary Bible Church, 2712 Pine Vale Rd. Glen Campbell. A funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. with the Rev. John Traxler officiating. Interment will be made in the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Bible Church, or to Birdie's Closet, c/o Indiana Regional Medical Center.
