Margaret R. Cox's Obituary

Margaret ("Margo") R. Cox, age 91, a long-time resident of Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Indian Haven. She was born on January 17, 1920, in Clearfield County, to Andrew and Lillian Frantz Olson. Margo was a joyful spirit, a faithful wife to her much beloved husband, Albert M. Cox, a kind sister, a fun aunt, and a good friend to many. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Company. She also worked at Brody's Department Store. Margo was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana. Margo will be remembered with great affection by her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Pauline ("Polly") Hutchison Wright of Omaha, NE, Polly's husband, Harold A. Wright, her two nephews--Gregg H. Hutchison of Princeton, NJ, and Andrew W. Hutchison of Omaha, NE, Andrew's wife, Jody A. Kelley, and her great nieces--Madeline K. Hutchison and Sarah K. Hutchison, all of Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert, her sister, Helen M. Olson, her brother, Andrew L. Olson, her sister-in-law, Lauris M. Olson, and her brother-in-law, Hugh M. Hutchison. Funeral services will be private, with burial at the Mahaffey Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margo's name to the Zion Lutheran Church, 100 South 6th Street, Indiana, PA 15701
