Mack Louis Pitts, 70, of Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Born in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, on January 22, 1954, he was the son of the late Louis and Leola (Salsberry) Pitts.

Mack served our country in the United States Army. He worked various jobs throughout his career and most recently was a security guard at the Indiana Mall. He was an avid painter, making beautiful art with acrylic paints. In addition, he enjoyed fishing and watching football.

Surviving Mack is his wife of 40 years Sherry Lynn (Cramer) Pitts; stepdaughters Jennifer Lynn (Wayne) Harper of Creekside and Amanda Kristen (Rex) Slee of WV; step grandchildren Matthew J. Milavec, Joseph N and Braden A. Donoughe; daughter Robyn Pitts and her son Jacob Pitts, both of CA; brothers Hollis and Calvin Pitts; sister Alberteen Pitts; half-brother Charles Pitts; and mother-in-law Janet Ruth Brown.

In addition to his parents, Mack was preceded in death by his brothers John, Willie and Larry Pitts, as well as a sister Helen Pitts. At Mack's request, all services will be private, and inurnment will be held at the family's convenience at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
