M. Carol Nayland's Obituary

M. Carol Naylon, age 62, of Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Scenery Hill Manor. She was born in 1952 in Indiana, to Howard and Margie Galonis Peterson. Mrs. Naylon was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, Indiana. She was self-employed as a beautician for 40 years, operating and managing Margie's L'Art De Coiffure in Indiana. Carol loved the ocean/beach/sun bathing and embraced all experiences in life and any experience that was different and new. She also loved music and dance. She spent many days with family and friends over holidays and other gatherings. Carol was known for her sense of humor and kindness. M. Carol is survived by one son Justin D. Naylon and wife Jacquie, Myrtle Beach, SC; her father Howard of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters and one brother, Cindy Nyland and husband Larry, Indiana; Cathy Tardio and husband Tom, Studio City, CA; Otto Peterson and wife Beverly, Indiana; and the following nieces and nephews, Richelle King, Courtney Jones, Natalie Mears, Audrey and Jessica Peterson, Taryn and Brandon Tardio, Allison Giandomenico, Zachary Naylon, Nathan Nyland, John Gundy, Jeffrey Gundy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband David P. Naylon in 2010, and her infant son Adam Paul in 1987. Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of funeral mass on Monday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C., Indiana. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery. The Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., Four Gateway Center, Suite 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-1207; or Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Rd., Indiana, PA 15701.
