Obituary

Lucille J. (Sheffar) Shimps, age 81, of Indiana, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Hillsdale Nursing Home. She was born in 1931 in Five Points to the late Wilbur and Grace Lohr Sheffar. Mrs. Shimps was a musician and enjoyed singing and playing guitar in many local establishments. She has resided for her entire life in Indiana Co. She is survived by one son, Rodney C. Sheffar and wife Machelle, Five Points; three grandsons, Bryan Sheffar and wife Helen, Five Points; Russell Sheffar, Indiana; Adam Sheffar, Five Points; two great grandchildren, Brady and Bryanna Sheffar, Five Points. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday at 2 P.M. at the Creekside United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tim Goodman officiating. Private interment will be made in the Harmony Grove Cemetery.
