Loretta Pina's Obituary

Loretta "Belle" Pina, age 73, of Indiana, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at her home. She was born in 1937 in Milton, to Roland A. and Iva M. Eagle Shrauger. Mrs. Pina was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, Polka dancing with her loving husband, and worked as a seamstress for friends and family for 23 years. Belle is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank J. Pina, Indiana; by three sons and two daughters, Frank Pina, Jr., Indiana; Anthony P. Pina and wife Debbie, Indiana; Cristina M. Wingrove and husband Thomas, Home; Nicholas L. Pina and wife Linda, Canonsburg; M. Renee Roane and husband Willard, Eldersburg, MD; six grandchildren, Vincent, Cole, and Logan Moreau; Anthony and Bethany Pina; Byron Wingrove; two step-grandchildren, Gene and Lisa Pellegrene; two sisters and one brother, Gwendolyn Vandenbrand, Pittsburgh; F. Ruth Tolman, Camden, ME; Nelson C. Shrauger, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by in death by her parents, by one brother and two sisters, Roland "Buzz" Shrauger, Mary Vanderneck, Marcella Peter, and by several infant brothers and sisters. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. William Kiel the celebrant. Entombment will be made in the St. Bernard Mausoleum.
