Loretta Ann (Kinter) Montagnese, 90, of Sewickley, formerly of Ernest, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home.

Born in Ernest on August 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Ebert and Madeline (Buggey) Kinter.

Loretta was a member of St. James Church, Divine Redeemer Parish, in Sewickley.

She is survived by her children, son Michael, Sewickley; daughter Patricia (Jay) Cornman, Home; three granddaughters, Tiffany (Edward) Frank, Katelyn (Jared) Long, and Alexis (Jordan) Long; six great grandchildren, Cooper and Gracelynn Frank, Maci Long, Jack Long, and twins Sophia and Madelyn Long.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. Montagnese, four infant children, Patrick Joseph, Joseph Daniel, Daniel James, and Cynthia Ann, as well as three brothers, Ebert, Leonard, and Gene Kinter

Friends will be received on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11 A.M. in St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana, with Rev. Fr. Richard N. Owens, OFM, Cap. as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery.
