Loretta Mae "Dorothy" Fairman , age 86 , of Indiana , formerly of Brush Valley Twp., passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Communities at Indian Haven.

She was born in 1930 in Saltsburg, to Ralph M. and Mary Elizabeth Kelly McCully.

Loretta was a life member of the VFW Post #1989 Auxiliary.

A resident of Brush Valley Twp. for many years, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also employed in housekeeping at Indian Haven for 17 years.

Loretta is survived by two children, Edward E. Fairman and wife Pauline, Armagh; Judy Ann Reed and husband Charles, Homer City; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Wallace, Daniels, WV; Maxine Smith, Indiana; Geraldine Crusan, Belle Vernon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin "Earl' Fairman in 2011; an infant daughter, her brother Phillip McCully, her two sisters, Gladys Langley and Mary Louise Cooke.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home , Indiana , where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Joseph Smith officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
