Lois M. Knopsnyder's Obituary

Lois M. Knopsnyder, age 81, of Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. She was born in 1933 in Brush Valley to Paul Anderson. Lois was a member of the Summit Church, the LOOM Auxiliary, and the FOE Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and had also worked for Fisher Scientific for 18 years. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, bingo, playing darts, and using costumes to bring joy to others. Lois is survived by one son and three daughters - Wayne Knopsnyder and wife Alisa, Elkhart, IN; Debra Montgomery and husband Dennis, Indiana; Marsha Henry and husband William, Homer City; Kimberly Knopsnyder, Sarver; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband Kenneth Knopsnyder, her brother Norman Anderson and her sister Wilda "Dusty" Byers. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Richard Motzing officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
