Lois M. Allison, age 97, of Indiana, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Moorehead Place, Indiana.

Born in 1921 in Aultman to Frank and Lavina (­­­Wise) McAfoose, she was married to the late Robert M. Allison.

Lois graduated from Indiana High School in 1939 and was employed by Bell Telephone for over 40 years. She was a life-time member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and its Naomi Sunday School Class. In addition, Lois was a life member of the Bell Pioneers of America.

She is survived by her step-daughter Gail Allison, Sacramento, CA, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Evelyn Washington and Anna Marshall Brunson, and her brother, Earl McAfoose.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 28, 2019, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David J. Hanna officiating. Interment will be made in the Thompson Cemetery, Hillsdale.
