Linda Jo (Grube) Fergasse, 77, of Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 25, 2024. She was born in Punxsutawney on November 20, 1947, to the late Eugene and Irene (Caldwell) Grube.

Linda graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1965 She worked for Frito Lay delivering to many stores throughout the area, retiring in 1997. After retirement she worked as a crossing guard for Indiana Boro where she was stationed on South 7th Street. She was a former member of Grace Church, the FOP, and enjoyed the many friendships she developed over the years at the Indiana YMCA. Linda loved all four-legged creatures, boating, decorating her home, shopping as well as cars and attending car shows.

She is survived by her husband John R. Fergasse of Indiana; son Dan (Denise) Brudnock, of Home, PA; sister Trudy Grube of Dayton, Ohio; brother Doug (Sara) Grube of DuBois, PA; grandchildren Dusty Learn, Jacquie (Jimmy) Scheckles, Sasha (Arnold Boring) Moon, and Niki (Zachary) Frantz; great grandchildren Alec, Ellie, Grace, Preston, Dawson, Brody, Kamden, Jensen, Will, Jameson, Callie, and Cecilia; as well as step daughter Kristin (Aaron Fekete) Fergasse.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law Ann Grube and Joan (Fergasse) Drager.

Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 12 Noon until the time of service at 4:00 PM, with Reverend Doug Wolfe officiating.
