Laura Dishong, age 91 of Indiana, died Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Communities at Indian Haven.

She was born in 1927 in Montgomery Twp., to George and Grace Hadden Treese. Laura was employed by Lee Norse Co. and the PA Dept of Transportation before her retirement.

She enjoyed helping her daughter in her ceramic shop and spending time with her dog Peaches. She also enjoyed crafts and traveling with her husband and the Moraine Blazing Stars.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years - Donald "Dutch" Dishong, Indiana; her daughter - Linda Raymont and husband Russell, Indiana; her sister - Dolores Bishop, Indiana; her sister-in-law - Florence Treese, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her sister - Mary Jane Phipps, two brothers -Valgene and Harold Treese.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. when a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kathy Mihoerck officiating. Entombment will be made in the Oakland Mausoleum.
