LaRue E. Fleming, age 77, of Indiana, died February 7, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Indiana in 1940 to Oscar D. and Elsie E. Isenberg Brown and step-mother Dorothy May Gailey Brown.

Mrs. Fleming was a homemaker and enjoyed oil painting and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are three sons, Kevin S. Fleming and wife M. Cheryl, Indiana; Mark A. Fleming and wife Wendy, Indiana; Jeffery L. Fleming and wife Julie, Indiana; six grandchildren, Cheryl, Nicholas, Justin, Jared, Jade, and Jason Fleming; two step-grandchildren, Holly Bouch, Jeremy Detwiler and wife Brandi; three step-great grandchildren, Madison and Maleah Bouch, Hadin Detwiler.

She is also survived by her sister Katherine Boyer, Indiana; her devoted caregiver Ronda Gearhart, and by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, and by her husband Kenneth C. Fleming.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Mark Brady officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
