Obituary

Obituary for Kriemhilde (Hilda) Emmi Munz Kriemhilde (Hilda) Emmi Munz, 71, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was born October 24, 1941 in Hallenberg, Germany, to Adolf and Paula Odenthal. Hilda was a member of St. Thomas More University Parish where she served as a Sacristan. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and retired from Indiana County Vo-tech as an English teacher. Hilda enjoyed making afghans for the children being baptized at the church. She is survived by her husband Karl G. Munz, Indiana, whom she married January 31, 1961; a son and two daughters, Glenn T. Munz, Indiana; Patricia A. Wade and husband Daniel, Masontown; Michele M. Brown and husband Julius, Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Samantha, Heather, Hayley and Devon and a great grandson Triston; her mother, Paula Odenthal, Germany; and a brother Heribert Odenthal, Germany. She is preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas More University Parish, 1200 Oakland Ave, Indiana, PA 15701.
