Kenneth B. Stile Sr.'s Obituary

Kenneth B. Stile, Sr., age 85, of Indiana, died Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born in 1925 in Indiana, to Adlai C. and Genira B. Butterbaugh Stile. Ken was a member of the Church of God, Indiana, a lifetime member of the VFW Post #1989 and a part of the Honor Guard Team, and the AARP. A veteran of WW II, he served in the US Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing in Canada, and riding motorcycles. He was a good hardworking Christian man that had fun with life and enjoying his family. Mr. Stile was employed McCreary Tire for 32 ½ years before retirement in 1982 Ken is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nedra Stile, Indiana; two daughters and one son, Brenda Lang, Indiana; Connie Fisher, Ocean City, MD; Kenneth B. Jr. and wife Mary D., Indiana; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one brother Milton A. Stile and wife Marie, San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one brother Sylvester Stile. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. with the Rev. James Hooks officiating. Private interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post #1989 at the funeral home.
