Obituary

Obituary for Kenneth J. Milner Jr. Kenneth J. Milner Jr., 63, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his residence. He was born in 1947 to Kenneth J. and Jimmie (Dobrosky) Milner in Indiana. Ken was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, VFW Post 1989, Indiana, and the American Legion, Indiana. Ken was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the United States Army. He was retired from Verizon as the supervisor of the Indiana office and co-owner of Milner's Dry Cleaningand Laundromat. Ken enjoyed being with his grandchildren and family, working around his home and taking walks at Blue Spruce Park with his husky, Sally. He is survived by a daughter Manon M. Gill and husband Rich, Indiana; Special friend Sharon O'Keiff, Indiana; two grandchildren Jacob and Rachel Gill; five brothers and four sisters. Suzie Lakatosh, Indiana; Maria and George Mihoerck, Indiana; Michael Milner and wife Georganne, Indiana; Joseph Milner, Indiana; James Milner, Indiana; Mark Milner and wife Vickie, Indiana; Maliya Wolford and husband Kevin, Coral; Keith Milner; Patricia Nagg, Saltsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Kelly Milner, a sister Marcia Pierce, and grandparents Joseph (Bucky) and Pauline Dobrosky. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Fr. William Kiel celebrant. Military Honors will be performed by the Indiana VFW Post 1989. Burial will be private in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Indiana County VNA/Hospice.
