Joseph T. Montagnese, age 87 of Sewickley, formerly of Creekside, died Monday October 14, 2019 at his home.

He was born in 1932 in Creekside to Ralph and Lucy Serrian Montagnese.

Joe was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Sewickley.

A veteran of the Korean War he served in the US Army.

He was employed by Texaco and retired after over 40 years.e was employed

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Loretta Ann Kinter Montagnese, Sewickley; one son, Michael, Sewickley; one daughter, Patricia Cornman and husband Jay, Home; three granddaughters, Tiffany Frank and husband Edward; Katelyn Long and husband Jared; Alexis Long and husband Jordan; three great grandchildren, Cooper and Gracelynn Frank, Maci Long; one brother Anthony Montagnese and wife Sharon, OH; one sister, Betty Geiger and husband Jim, MI.

He was preceded in death by four infant children, Patrick Joseph, Joseph Daniel, Daniel James, and Cynthia Ann.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 A.M. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment will be made at St. Bernard Cemetery.
