Obituary

Joseph G. Exton, 76, of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Beacon Ridge. He was born in 1936 to George and Helen (Hudak) Exton in Apollo. Joe was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Indiana, Past member of the Knights of Columbus, past president of Indiana / Armstrong Home builders Association, He was a retired contractor and owner of Exton Construction Company. Joe enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and traveling. Joe was a peace time veteran serving in the United States Army. He is survived by four sons and a daughter, Anthony J. Exton and wife Karen, Fairport, NY; Randall V. Exton, Washington DC.; Ralph Erik Exton and wife Debra, Horsham; Beth A. Exton, Pittsburgh; George P. Exton, Indiana; five grandchildren, Alicea, Kolten, Erika, Nicholas, Kristina; mother, Helen E. Exton, Indiana; He was preceded in death by his father George H. Exton, his wife Patricia J. Exton in 2006 and a brother Richard M. Exton. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00 PM at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Burial will take place in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
