John Richard Ondo, 74, of Indiana, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born in 1951, to the late Joseph and Julia (Marengols) Ondo. John graduated from Homer-Center High School in 1969 and spent his career in law enforcement for the State of Pennsylvania and later Florida. John enjoyed collecting antiques as well as entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving John is his daughter, Shannon (Tim) Brewer of Georgia, sisters Gloria Kanick, Shirley Wadding, and Elizabeth Shankle, brothers Joseph (Amy) Ondo and Damian (Gloria) Ondo, as well as his roommate, Duane Cindric.

Besides his parents, John is preceded in death by his sisters Joan Bekina and Judith Buterbaugh, his ex-wife Constance Alexander, as well as Brian Maloney and Lawrence Yeckel.

Burial will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
