Obituary

John Anthony Fancella, 62, of Aultman passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at his home. He was born in 1951 to Dominick P. and Elizabeth (Chronosky) Fancella in Aultman. John was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. He was retired from RandP Coal Company after 27 years. John was an avid Steelers fan and had an interest in his collection of antique radios. He loved spending time with his family and especially his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Jean (Gerber) Fancella of Aultman, whom he wed December 14, 1970. Two sons John R. Fancella, Ohio; Bryan A. Fancella and Denise Stiffler, Shelocta; his mother Elizabeth Fancella, Aultman; three grandchildren, Tony and Ashly Fancella and Silvano Stillisano; a brother Dominick (Butch) and wife Carol, Indiana; five sisters, Betty Fancella, Patty Fancella, Donna Fancella, Joanne and husband Mike Gais, and Annette Fancella all of Aultman; two sister-in-laws Dorothy and husband James Cribbs, Shelocta; Carol and husband John Hinton, Clymer; numerous nieces and nephews and his little dog Rex. He was preceded in death by his father, Dominick, his mother, father and brother-in-law, Anna Gerber and William Gerber and Bill Gerber Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent.
