John Edward Carmody, 80, of Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, in Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings.

He was born in Camden New Jersey on October 16, 1944, to the late Edward John and Mabel Evelyn (Hanson) Carmody.

John honorably served our country in the United States Air Force and in the United States Air Force Reserves. He worked in newspaper publishing in print departments for many years before his retirement. John could often be found eating at Wendy's with his military brothers and friends.

As per John's wishes, there will be no services, and inurnment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
