Obituary

John P. "Jopal" Bodnar, age 49, of Clymer, died Friday, February 17, 2012 in McIntyre. He was born in 1963 in Ft. Meade, MD to Andy Joe and Pearl Bogdanski Bodnar. Jopal was employed by West Penn Energy Services in Elderton for the past two years. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time on the family farm. He could make you laugh every day. He also enjoyed tinkering with cars. John is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dianne Dalton Bodnar, Clymer; Richard "Stock" Chronoski, (Daddy), McIntyre; one son and one daughter, James Tyger and wife Catherine, Allentown; Jacqueline Tyger, Clymer; one granddaughter, Abianne Tyger, Clymer; his mother of Coal Run; a twin brother, Andrew Bodnar and wife Karen, Rock Hill, SC; two sisters, Dora and Pearly; and by numerous nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law and friends. He is also survived by his dogs, Beamer, Mollee, Precious, and Wrinkles. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 A.M. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, with the Rev. Fr. Charles Esposito the celebrant. Interment will be made in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
