In loving memory of JoAnne Altman, age 77 of Indiana, who passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at her home.

She was born in 1939 in Brunswick, GA and was raised in Jacksonville, FL.

JoAnne enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, decorating and baking. She had many friends who also shared her passion for BINGO! She was a true southerner. She loved chatting with friends and her sister Shirley from Jacksonville, FL.

JoAnne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ted Altman. She was blessed with five children, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Daughter - Vickie Shultz and husband John and daughters Lauren and Savannah of Kill Devil Hills, NC; Son - Jeff Altman and wife Rose and daughter Anne Marie of Fletcher, OK; Daughter - Tammy DeStefano and husband Dan and son DJ of Pittsburgh, PA; Daughter - Cindy Dropcho and husband Michael and children Corey and Meghan of Indiana, PA; Son - Michael Altman and children Braiden, Laykin, Katie, Reggie of Indiana, PA. One great grandchild Kylee of Indiana, PA. We have lots of wonderful memories to keep Dear Sweet Nana close to our hearts! Go in peace with the Lord and your grandson Frank Altman. You will be missed.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. with Major Robert Carney officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
