Obituary

Jessie L. Busija, age 78, of Blairsville, passed from this life to life eternal on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Bethany Place Residential Care. She was born 1934 in Clearfield, to the late James Eldon and Erma Norris Bell. Mrs. Busija attended the Bethel Church for the past 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael John Busija in 1999, by two sisters, Gertrude "Trudy" Bell and Vera Wiley. Jessie is survived by her son Michael Andrew Busija, Blairsville; one sister Verna Torrell, Detroit, MI; and four nieces, Christine Novack, Cherly Torrell, Carolyn Torrell, and Cindy Wiley. She is also survived by an extended family of caregivers at Bethany Place. A memorial service will be held at a date yet to be determined in the near future. Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Artists Connection of the Alleghenies, at St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 401 North Main St., Davidsville, PA 15928.
