Jean Louise Sherwood's Obituary

Jean Louise Sherwood, age 82, of Indiana, died Monday, January 22, 2015 at her home. She was born in 1932 in E. Wheatfield Township, to Jacob "Earl" and Nora Anne Rager Ressler. Jean was self-employed as a custom tailor for many years. She was a 1994 graduate of IUP with an Associate of Arts degree. She was an intensely artistic and creative person of many talents. Jean is survived by one daughter and one son - Bonnie J. Smithson and husband Brian, Sunnyvale, CA; William Sherwood and wife Judy, Nanty Glo; two nephews - Larry HyDrew, Marblehead, OH; Gary HyDrew, Cleveland, OH; one brother - Kenneth Ressler, Medina, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her companion and business partner Nickolas Von Altimus, by three brothers and three sisters, Earl, Ralph, and Mervin Ressler; Violet HyDrew, Freda Rowe, and an infant sister Odessa Ressler. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, at 1:00 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home in Indiana, PA.
