Jared Wesley Smith, 39 of Home, passed away at his home.

Born on September 18, 1985, in Wauseon, Ohio, he was the son of Jeffrey and Linda Smith.

Jared graduated in 2003 from Fulton County School and then moved to Indiana co in 2013. Jared was employed as a truck driver with J & C Hauling Services.

A lover of all things mechanical, he enjoyed working on trucks as well as race cars, and his derby cars. In addition, Jared could be found outside hunting or fishing. His favorite time, however, was being with his family, especially his daughters, as well as his friends & family.

In addition to his mother, Jared is survived by his wife Cherise (Park) Smith, his daughters Lindsay, Kabelah, and Zadie all of Home, his brother Judd (Brandy) Smith of Michigan, his former wife Shaina (Patrick) Gillingham and their children Edward and Nevada all of Home.

He was preceded in death by his father, his brothers Cory Smith and Chris Eichler, and his maternal grandparents Sam and Audry Smith.

In keeping with his wishes all arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
