Obituary

Obituary for Janet R. (Weiss) Sessi Janet R. (Weiss) Sessi, 74, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at Latrobe Hospital. She was born in 1938 to Arthur L. Weiss and Edna M. (Lohr) Weiss in Shelocta. Janet was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana. She was retired from Westinghouse in Blairsville where she was a Pilger operator for over 20 plus years. Janet enjoyed creating crafts that she could share with her family. She is survived by her husband, whom she married on December 31, 1998, Francis H. Sessi Sr, Indiana; five daughters and three sons, Sandra Neigh and husband Larry, Las Vegas, NV; Timothy Dotts and wife Karen, Indiana; Tammie Clark and husband Mike, Valier;Lisa Gazda and husband Mike, Shelocta; Robin Fennell and husband Steve, Indiana; Francis Sessi Jr and wife Karen, Pittsburgh; Lori Hantz and husband Don, Latrobe; John Sessi and Charlene, Derry; Grandchildren, Anthony Spence, Angie Corry and husband Adam, Susan Moore and husband Dave, Jennifer Elbel Hill and husband Jack, Donald Elbel Sr. and wife Heather, Rodney Gabelli, Christopher Gabelli, Jared and Hunter Sessi, Julianne Sessi, Donnie, Tyler and Ryan Hantz Jonathan Sessi, Great grandchildren, Briana and Erin Corry, Tavia Henry, "Bubba" Donald Elbel Jr., two sisters Jean Hatmaker and husband John, Wilderville, OR; Darla Phillips and husband Jim, Valley City, OH; three brothers, Kenneth Weiss and wife Kelly, Cleveland, OH; Ronald Weiss, Washington; William Weiss and wife Kathy, Shelocta, her dog Mia Grace, best friends Miss Rita and Jolene. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Susan Marie Dotts, grandson Timmy Dotts, and a son-in-law Bill Luketich. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Friday at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, Indiana, with Rev.
