James T. Weir, 96, of Indiatlantic, FL. formerly of Big Beaver Borough, passed away February 1, 2022. Jim was born January 14, 1926 in Beaver Falls, PA. to the late Fred T. Weir and Blanche Weir . He was a pilot with US Air retiring after 30 plus years of service Jim was also a veteran of WW II, serving in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Peggy Weir, sister Dorothy Thompson, and brothers Dale and Gale Weir. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Terri Veil Weir, daughters Barbara Hale, Nancy (Bill) Martin, Cindy (Al Kolmer) Weir, and son Thomas (Doli) Weir; step-sons, Jason (Carla) Veil and Adam Veil; Brother Harold Weir; Brother-in-law Dan Jones; nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's honor to St. Jude Children's Research or Shriners Hospitals for Children .
