Obituary

James T. Japour, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his home. He was born in 1929 in Macon, GA, to James T. and Anna Saad Japour. He was a member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Redford, Michigan, and was currently attending Community of St. Matthew, Lake Worth, Florida. James was employed by the Chrysler Motor Co. for 40 years before his retirement in 1988. James is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Ann Jean Buffone Japour; one son and one daughter, Anthony J. Japour, MD; Mary Ann Japour Stafman and husband Stuart; two grandchildren, Joshua and Laura; and by several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Helen Dunajski and Carmela Dunajski. Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of a memorial mass on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Noon at Community of St. Matthew R.C. Church, located at 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, FL 33463.
