James A. Fulton Jr.'s Obituary

James A. Fulton, Jr., age 70, of Home, died Saturday, March 19, 2011at his home. He was born in 1940 in Latrobe, to James A. and Martha Lucille Bernard Fulton. He attended the New Life Lutheran Church, Marion Center, and was a member of the LOOM, and previous member and past president of the Plumville Lions Club. Jim served in the US Airforce as a peacetime veteran. He was employed by GTE Telephone Co. in the Saltsburg and Avonmore area for 20 years before retirement in 1992. Jim lived on his farm for the past 42 years where he enjoyed raising horses, beef cattle, and a variety of other animals. However, most precious to him was spending time with his family, in particular his three granddaughters. Jim is survived by his wife Joyce McMillen Fulton, Home; by three sons and one daughter, David Fulton and wife Lori and daughters Hannah and Sarah, Marion Center; Ronald Fulton, Indiana; Lora Kunkle and husband Ken and daughter Kennedi, Home; James G. Fulton and Robert Ficco, Palm Springs, CA; one brother Robert Fulton and wife Irene, Clarksburg; two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Friends will also be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 to 9:45 A.M. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. at the New Life Lutheran Church, Marion Center, with Pastors Steve Bond officiating. Interment will be made in the Smicksburg Cemetery.
