Irene Margaret (Duchon) Zolocsik, 86 of Home, passed away on January 1, 2022.  She was born on February 1, 1935 in Dixonville to the late John and Mary (Most) Duchon.

She was a 1953 graduate of Starford High School, and was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Parish in Yatesboro.  She enjoyed making ceramics, crocheting, cooking, and baking.

Irene is survived by her children, Daughter Cynthia (Daniel) Meyer, of Home; Son Paul (Paula) Zolocsik, Jr., of Indiana; Son Douglas (Julie) Zolocsik of Indiana; 7 Grandchildren, Charynn (Chris) Olsheski, , Charelle (AJ) Rivosecchi, Priscilla (Matthew) Boring, Steven, Thomas (Brooke Evans) , Tyler (Rebecca) and Melanie (Nick Roberts) Zolocsik; 8 Great Grandchildren; Brother Francis Duchon of Creekside; and one Sister Dorothy (Merlyn) Orr of Home.

Besides her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her Husband Paul A. Zolocsik; one Granddaughter Danielle Meyer, 6 sisters and 6 brothers.

At Irene's request, all services will be private and have been entrusted to the care of the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home.
