Howard (Joe) Adamson, 73, of Indiana, PA, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015, at St. Andrew's Village following a well-fought battle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born in August of 1942 to the late Leota (Adamson) Good in Indiana , PA.

Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered as a great family man, who was a devoted caretaker during his wife's final years. Joe was a member of Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church, Shelocta , PA. He was employed for 36 years by FMC in Homer City . He loved the outdoors and was often hunting, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed racing, woodworking, music and tinkering in the garage. He had a quick wit and many one-liners that will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald and wife Rita of Indiana, Brian of Blue Springs, MO, two grandchildren, Kathryn and Jeremy of Indiana; a sister Arlene Brown of Haywood , CA ; and many from his extended "in-law" family, all of whom will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Gladys Craig Adamson, his mother and step-father, Merle Good.

Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Greg Golden officiating.

Interment will follow at Shelocta Community Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Shelocta.
