Henry S. Minich, Jr.'s Obituary

Henry S. Minich, Jr., age 85, of Indiana, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 12, 1940, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Elsie (Johnson) Minich and Henry S. Minich, Sr. Henry proudly served in the United States Army and devoted 48 years of loyal service to Laurel Insurance Management, where his friendly and fun demeanor served him well.

Henry shared 59 years of marriage with his wife, Constance "Connie" R. (O'Neill) Minich. Together, they spent several years as snowbirds in Tower Lakes, Florida, a time Henry truly enjoyed. Wherever he went, Henry made friends easily. He was social, outgoing, and genuinely interested in others, and he was a friend to all he met.

He was a proud father and a devoted grandfather who took great joy in his grandchildren and followed their lives closely. Family meant everything to him.

Henry enjoyed golfing with his wife and friends, playing pool, and weekly poker games at the Allied Club, where he was a longtime member. He was active in the Indiana Moose, Eagles, American Legion of Homer City, and Elks Lodges, and served as a Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks, B.P.O.E. 931. He served on several boards and committees for worthwhile causes throughout his life. These organizations reflected his love of people, service, and community.

Henry is survived by his wife, Connie; his daughter, AnnMarie Everett, and her husband, Mike, of Indiana; his son, John Minich, of Evergreen, Colorado; Sister-In-Law, Patricia O'Neill of Netanya, Isreal, and his grandchildren, Kerian (Katherine) Everett, Logan Everett, and Hunter, Zariah, and North Minich. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bowser-Minich Funeral Home in Indiana, Pennsylvania. An Elks service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Henry lived with warmth, generosity, and an open heart. His presence filled a room, and his legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
