Helen Liddle, age 98, of Home, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh died on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.

Helen was born in 1918 in Greenfield, PA, to Ivan and Ilya (Druga) Tihey.

She is survived by the following children - Ruth H. Beatty and husband Vince; Sue Ellen Szewczyk and husband Robert; grandchildren - Andrea H. Hicks, Kimberly Ann Crowl, Robert Szewczyk; great grandchildren - Lauren Elizabeth Hicks, Nathan James Hicks, Nicholas Jacob Beatty, Benjamin James Crowl, Amanda Nicole Crowl; and a brother - Thomas Tihey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold S. Liddle, and three sisters and five brothers.

Friends will be received on Monday, October 3, 2016, from 9-9:30 a.m. at St. Anne Byzantine Catholic Church, Clymer, where a Funeral Liturgy will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Reverend Father William Lascelles officiating. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
