Helen M. Kuberek, 88 of Indiana, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Born in 1927 in Latrobe, PA, she was the daughter of Stephen and Theresa (Yakubac) Mihalik.

Helen lived in many places over the years, including Latrobe, PA; Murrysville, PA; Columbus, OH; Naples, FL; Phoenix AZ; Las Vegas, NV and Indiana, PA.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had great luck playing slot machines at the casino, and enjoyed fashion and modeling.

Helen is survived by her husband James S Lapcevic, DO of Indiana; sister - Pauline Newmeyer of Greensburg; daughter - Sharon Schifano and husband Larry of Bethel Park; son - Kurt Kuberek and wife Brenda; and grandchildren - Ryan and Bryce Kuberek of Fredericksburg, VA; and the following step-children - Andrea Cunningham of Escondido, CA; Angela Ring of Ambridge, PA; James Lapcevic and wife Karen of Acworth, GA; Janette Traffichini and husband Mario of Imperial, PA; Paula Good and husband Todd of Indiana; and the following step-grandchildren - Lauren Cunningham, Alexandra and Rebecca Lapcevic, Stephon and Ryan Conto, and Brandon Good.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters - Anne Novak and Evelyn Danko, and brothers - Steve Mihalik, Joe Mihalik and Johnny MIhalik.

Helen's wishes were to have a private memorial for family members only.
