Harry Eugene McCracken Harry Eugene McCracken passed away on September 30, 2021 at Scenery Hill Manor. He was the son of William Harrell McCracken and Sarah Catherine (Moore) McCracken. Harry was born on December 7, 1931 in Montgomery, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. His mother passed away during his birth and his aunt, Mary Smith, came to live with the family. His father, William, was a lumber worker. After the passing of his father, Harry went to live in Polk, Pa where he worked washing cars and other odd jobs. He came to live in the Indiana area again in the 1980's. Harry worked for a Veterinarian and at the Workshop. Harry was family oriented and always attended the McCracken family reunions each year. He loved to shoot pool, play horseshoes, Corn Hole, listen to Country music, and visit friends. After he retired Harry kept busy going to concerts, the Pittsburgh Zoo, and many of the local gatherings in the Indiana area. His dream car was a 1967 florescent green Mustang with a manual transmission. He was passionate about celebrating his birthday and would always invite everyone he met to his party. Among his favorite gifts was a large jar of quarters and belt buckles. He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah, father William, and his brother Robert. He is survived by a niece and nephew, along with cousins. Harry was loved by many, and will be missed by all.
