Harold R. "Budd" Mottarn, Jr., age 71, of Home, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home.

He was born in 1945 in Punxsutawney to Harold R. Mottarn, Sr., and Margaret J. Williams Mottarn.

A veteran of the Viet Nam War he served in the US Air Force.

He was employed as a truck driver for Advantage Tank Lines as well as many other companies over the years.

Surviving is one daughter and one son, Tara L. Clifton and husband Greg, Plano, TX; Damon L. Mottarn, Terrell, TX; one grandson Lane Mottarn; three sisters, Nedra Spearing, North Las Vegas, NV; Anna Mae Lightcap, Creekside; Suellen M. Shick and husband John, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister Carol Hubbert.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana .
