Obituary

Gregory A. Demich, age 49 of Indiana, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 as a result of a work related accident. He was born in 1964 in Punxsutawney to Vernon and Ruth McCoy Demich. Greg was a member of the former Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Sagamore. He was employed as a truck driver for Dallas Morris Trucking Co. from Bradford, for the past four years. He had resided in Arizona for 12 years previous to that and was an operator and supervisor for a landscaping company. Greg was also employed as a coal mine electrician for Canterbury Coal Co. He enjoyed and was talented at fine carpentry and leather working. Greg is survived by his companion Sharon Galensky, Indiana; his parents of Shelocta; two step-sons, Keith Habel, Indiana; Cory Propst and wife Kathy, WI; one brother and one sister, Vernon "Butch" Demich and wife Elaine, Plum; Denise Krivokuca and husband Paul, O'Fallon, IL; four nieces and two nephews, Emily Garland and husband Matthew, NY, NY; Brendan Demich, Plum; Natalie Krivokuca, O'Fallon, IL; Erin Demich, Plum; Nicholas Krivokuca, O'Fallon, IL; Christine Wimbush and husband Grayson, Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his daughter Ashley Demich in 2001. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Yatesboro, with the Rev. Fr. Daniel Blunt the celebrant. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice
