Obituary

Grace M. Lockard, 88, of Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 surrounded by her family, at the home of her daughter. She was born in 1924 to Earl R. and Anna Belle (Meckley) Marshall in Mahaffey. Grace was a member of Homer City Church of the Nazarene, Gideons Auxillary International. She enjoyed puzzle books, quilting, reading, bird watching and spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters and a son. Sandra G. Holler, Homer City; Charles E. Lockard Jr. and wife Anna-Marie, Homer City; Karen A. Ambroz and husband Karel, Penn Yan, New York; ten grandchildren, Kirk A. McCoy and wife Connie, Clymer; Kay A. McCoy and wife Janet, Indiana; Kevin A. McCoy and fiance Kelly Carson, Kittanning; Edward C. Dugan, CO.; Brian M. Dugan, AZ; Annique M. Lockard and husband Michael, ND; Karel J. Ambroz and wife Karen, NY; Todd D. Ambroz, VT; Bruce M. Ambroz, NY; Ellen Hall and husband Craig, MI; and 11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. A sister Velma Lockard, NY; and survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles E. Lockard Sr. in 1991, two brothers Clyde Marshall and Glenn Marshall. Two son-in-laws Richard A. McCoy, Louis J. Holler, and a great grandson Kaleb J. McCoy. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Additional visitation will be on Thursday from 10 to 11:00 AM at the Homer City Church of the Nazarene where a funeral service will be at 11:00AM with her son, Charles E. Lockard J. officiating. Burial will be in the Burnside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Homer City Church of the Nazerene, 3513 Hwy 119 S, Homer City, PA 15748 or Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
