Goldie Mueller Browning's Obituary

Goldie Mueller Browning, 80, of Indiana and formerly of Homer City, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Butler. She was born in1929 to Ruth (Bhe) Buterbaugh in Johnstown. Goldie was a member of the Homer City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by a son Bill Mueller and wife Valerie, Butler; two daughters, Christine Haas, Manheim; Robin Grejtak, Indiana and friend Kevin Balog, Johnstown; five grand children, Sharon Lopata and husband Doug, Avon, OH; Dan Grejtak, Indiana; Brenda Syers and husband Chris, Greenville, NC; Mark Grejtak, Indiana; Julie Grejtak and fiance Mike Maggio, Homer City; two great grand daughters, Alexa and Hanna Lopata. A sister Imogene Berriman, FL; A sister-in-law Joan Buterbaugh, Johnstown; and loyal pet and friend Annie. She was preceded in death by her mother, her first husband William L. Mueller in 1991 and by her second husband Rev. Dr. Scott D. Browning in 2008. A brother Al Buterbaugh and a great grandson Dylan Syers. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, and also at the Homer City United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM on Thursday with a service following at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joe Stains officiating. Interment will take place in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
