Gloria Jean Allen-Flanagan, age 87, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at her daughter's home near Piedmont, MO. She was born on April 26, 1931 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Harry Immke, Sr. and Helen (Wren) Immke.

Gloria had worked as the Assistant Director for the Miami Beach Convention Bureau in Miami Beach, FL. She then worked as a Customer Service Representative for the Merck Company in Las Vegas, NV. She finally retired and had lived in Piedmont since 2006. Gloria was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She sang in the church choir and also in the community choir.

Gloria was married to D. Clyde Allen on March 14, 1953 in Cleveland, OH, and he passed away in 1973.

Also preceding her in death are her parents, her son - Robin John Allen, four brothers - Harry Immke, Jr, Lloyd Immke, Donald Immke, Wallace Immke (her town), and three sisters - Claire Carlson, Laverne McArdel and Lois West.

Survivors include her four children - Beverly Jean Reese of Silvis, IL; Brian David Allen and his wife Judy of Ballwin, MO: Roger Jay Allen and his wife Mary of Louisville, KY; Barbara Elaine Adams and her husband Charles of Piedmont, MO.

Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren , one great great grandchild on the way, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Gloria will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
