George H. Cribbs' Obituary

George H. Cribbs, 89, of Creekside passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Indiana Regional Medical. He was born in 1925 to Calvin and and Annie M. (Ray) Cribbs in Washington Twp, Indiana County. George was a member of Harmony Grove Lutheran Church, Willet. He was a coal miner, worked for R&P Coal Co. and retired in 1985. George was also a farmer and worked for Myers Christmas Tree Nursery. He enjoyed gardening, mowing grass, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. George is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother - Lester Cribbs, and five sisters - Nettie Wise, Martha Kough, Annabelle Blystone, Betty Andrews and Mary Ellen Peffer. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-7 PM at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Wasemann officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
