Obituary

Genevieve "Jean" Pearl Harrelson, age 80, of Plumville, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Communities of Indian Haven. She was born in 1930 in Dime, PA to Mabon and Leda Henry Ashbaugh. She was a graduate of the Bible College and was a member of the Sagamore Community Bible Church. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Diana Neal and husband Brad, Indiana; Deborah Hawkins and husband John, Camp Hill; Sandra Wojtesek, New Kensington; Brad Harrelson and wife Anna, Plumville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; by one sister Dorothy Sturgeon, Clymer. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband John Harrelson in 1987, by two brothers Clair "Elmer", and William Ashbaugh, and by five sisters, Norman Jean Mumau, Geraldine Holmes, Betty Stoic, Patty Hagerman, and Joanne Poling. Friends will be received on Monday from 9 to 11 A.M. a the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 11 A.M. A luncheon gathering will follow at the Saddlebrook Clubhouse, 106 Saddlebrook Dr., Indiana, PA. Interment will be private and will be made in the Georgeville Cemetery.
