Gaylene Stains, 69, of Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at home. She was born in Trenton, NJ, on July 29, 1956.

After graduating from high school, Gaylene went to work in management for Sheetz, retiring with 25 years of service. She and her partner, Judy, were very active with Four Footed Friends.

She is survived by her partner of 35 years, Judy Ashley; siblings, Evelyn Sabella, Johnna (Mike) Arter and Ed (Margie) Stains, all of Indiana; several nieces and nephews; her furry friends, Mr. Bean, Bean, and Suzi, as well as Fluffy and Rosie the cats.

Gaylene was preceded in death by her mom, Myra J. Strickland Stains in 2016, and her furry friends, Lynn, Romeo, ChiChi, and Popeye.

To honor Gaylene's wishes, all services will be private.
