Obituary

Floyd D. Helman, age 86, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at his home. He was born in 1926 in Cherry Hill Twp., to Vance and Annie Green Helman. Mr. Helman was a veteran of WW II having served in the US Army. He was employed at McCreary Tire and Rubber Co. as a tire builder for 38 years. He was an avid hunter. He was also a good husband and father who loved helping others. Floyd is survived by his wife of 60 years Alfretta M. Little Helman, Indiana; one son Dennis F. Helman, Indiana; one brother Wade Helman and wife Jean, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, by three sisters and three brothers, an infant sister Adela Helman, Ruby Leasure, Dorothy Rombaugh, Lloyd, Wayne, and Lyle Helman. Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 1 P.M. with the Rev. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
