Florence Treese, age 84 of Indiana, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at her home.

She was born in 1935 in Garretts Run to Charles and Florence Brown Orton.

Florence was involved with the family contracting business along with her husband and son. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed family time playing cards and vacationing at the beach.

She is survived by four children - Carol Cavanagh and husband Michael, Locust Grove, VA; Cindy Solinski, Indiana; Judy Nagg, Indiana; Harold Treese, Jr. and wife Stacy, York; five grandchildren - Julie King, Robert Schreckengost, Jr.; Heather Rotosky, Tara Dolan, Tracy Lanning; seven great grandchildren - Taylor, Logan and Preston King, Nathan Rotosky, Michael and Alexis Dolan and Mason Lanning.  She is also survived by sisters-in-law Delores Bishop, Indiana; and  Betty Orton, Creekside, and by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Treese, Sr. in 2017, son-in-law Alfred Solinski, Jr., great granddaughter Lilly Rotosky, three brothers - Ned, Bill and Charlie Orton, sister Alda Able, sister-in-law Laura Dishong, and by three nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 to 3 P.M. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana where a memorial service will begin at 3 P.M. with the Rev. Dick Motzing officiating. Private inurnment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery.
