Florence Pearl (Bush) Lutz Orr, age 103 of Home, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born in 1913 in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, to Jacob Leroy and Edith Pearl (Brocious) Bush. She spent most her life in the Home area.

Pearl was a former member of the Ambrose Baptist Church and a member of the AARP Evergreen Chapter #2581.

Pearl was formerly employed at Musser Forests Inc. for several years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, trying new recipes, reading, and making quilts that she made for all her children and grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by her children - J. Thomas Lutz and wife Norma, Lake Worth, FL; Donald M. Lutz and wife Bernice, Springville, NY; Dorothy J. Burkett and husband James, Home, PA; Janet M. Harper and husband Walter, Home, PA; 9 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren, and she was expecting her first great-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands - Roy Lutz and John C. Orr; step-mother Celia Brandon Short Bush, granddaughters Tina Marie Lutz in 1965, and Sandra Lutz Ford in 2012, great grandson Bryan Hill in 2014, sister Iva Wadding, two brothers - Blair Bush and W. Leroy Bush, half-sister Lotus Bush Jones, step-sister Thelma Short McMillen.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 2-4, and 6-8 pm at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday, June 9, with Reverend Micah McMillen officiating. Interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
